Four years past, it began as a whisper within a close-knit Bengali enclave — a shared longing for the textures of home. What started with the quintessential grace of curated Bengali handlooms soon found a wider resonance, fanned by the festive fervor of Durga Puja.
Driven by a passion that accepts no substitutes, Purnima Pal herself embarks on soul-stirring journeys across the vast Indian landscape. From the legendary handlooms of Shantiniketan and the delicate textures of Shantipur to Kolkata's bustling markets and beyond, she physically walks the weaver's path, personally touching, feeling, and choosing every masterpiece directly from the maker.
চার-পাঁচ বছর আগে পুনের বাঙালী সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে আমাদের পদযাত্রা শুরু। বিশেষত দুর্গাপূজার উৎসবের সাফল্য আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণা দেয়। এখন আমরা পরি পাখি কালেকশনস নামে এই কনসেপ্টটি তুলু করছি। পূর্ণিমা পাল নিজে শান্তিনিকেতন, শান্তিপুর, কলকাতা ও ভারতের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে ঘুরে ঘুরে সেরা শাড়ি নির্বাচন করেন।
